Who We Are
Kilmallie and Ardnamurchan Free Church of Scotland is a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland - a Presbyterian and Reformed denomination. To find out more about what we believe, visit the Free Church website.
We believe that worship is something that we do whatever we’re doing - that our whole lives are lived to God’s glory. We believe in the power of Jesus to change people’s lives, and that as his disciples we discover Real Life and what it means to be truly human.
If you’re thinking of visiting church, please see our Visit Us page, and What to Expect, if you’ve not been to church for a while. We want our churches to be easy places to come to, whoever you are!
Our parish stretches from the west side of Fort William out to the most westerly point on the British mainland - Ardnamurchan Point. However, people visit us from much further afield! We have two church buildings where we meet regularly to worship.
Kilmallie Free Church is located in Caol, Fort William. The church looks out over Loch Linnhe and from outside there are grand views of Ben Nevis and the Mamores. If you’re walking the Great Glen Way you’ll pass the church.
Acharacle Free Church is found in the centre of the village of Acharacle. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and moorland.
