Children at Kilmallie Free Church

Our children are important to us and important to God. We believe in the covenant promises of God to our baptised children. They are part of the church, so we take caring for them and teaching them seriously. We want to do it well.

Kilmallie and Ardnamurchan Church has a PVG/Child Protection Policy to help protect children. All of the volunteers and staff in the church who work with children are vetted through the Protecting Vulnerable Groups/Disclosure Scheme.

Crèche (Kilmallie)

For babies and toddlers up to 3 years old, we run a crèche during our 11am morning service at Kilmallie

Sunday School

If you come along to church, your children can come too. During the 11am service at Kilmallie Free Church there’s usually a short talk for the children, then during the second song, the children go out to Sunday School with their teachers. There is a Sunday school in Acharacle on the second Sunday of the month. The children start off in the church service and then go across the road to the Acharacle Community Centre with the teachers.

If you’re new to church and you want your children to attend Sunday School, please either email the office or speak to someone from the Welcome Team when you arrive.

We run the following groups which are linked to our Faith Alive: Dwell  Sunday school resources:

  • Play Group: for children aged 3-5 years old

  • Imagine Group: for children in school years P1 to P3

  • Wonder Group: for children in school years P4 to P5

  • Marvel Group: for children in school years P6 to P7

  • Dive Group: for young people from S1 upwards
